Annual District Foundation Seminar

This year we are bringing the Foundation Grants Seminar forward to Monday May 1st and Graduate House (Carlton) and the follow week on May 8th at Kangaroo Flat Rotary.

We hope that this will allow your 2017-18 Team to begin planning projects for the new Rotary year

This seminar will concentrate on Foundation Grants both District and Global as well as Vocational Training Teams (VTT)

We will outline what Club Projects are appropriate and you may be surprised that there are a wide range of local community activities that have received a matching Grant from Foundation.

The best way to retain new members is to give them a Project such as establishing a community vegetable garden or providing fruit once a week at a local school.  Both activities received a Grant from District this year.

Internationally, your Club may wish to be involved in a project or your members being part of a Team of professionals providing training in an overseas country similar to the teaching VTT in Cambodia.

Your Club may also be interested in being part of a Global Grant to Make a Difference in 2017-18.  Now is the time for planning to commence

Whatever it is the Foundation Grants Team is here to make it happen and support your Club throughout the process.

Finally I must add that it is a Rotary Foundation requirement that a Club must have representation at this Foundation Grants Seminar to qualify for a District or Global Grant.
